Become A Qualified Administrative Assistant
AOLCC’s Administrative Assistant diploma program develops the administrative, clerical and organizational skills that are needed to play a key role in virtually any office environment.
You will learn to perform administrative and clerical duties that assist with the overall function of your department, including preparing reports, scheduling appointments and drafting correspondence. We also provide job search and resume writing workshops to help you get on track for a successful and long-lasting career as an Administrative Assistant.

Skilled Administrative Assistants are in great demand in both large corporations and small independent businesses. All employers in all industry sectors require staff that possess strong office and software-related skills to perform their administrative functions. Administrative Assistants may move into supervisory office positions as their careers progress.
Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Student Status.
Courses are open to any applicant who possesses a good command of the English language and is able to follow instructions.
Full-time students must attend the required hours per week as per the course schedule and may do so at times convenient to them.
Minimum 40 words per minute (WPM)
Basic level of proficiency in a Windows operating system
Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Word

Office Procedures Level 1 and Level 2, Internet Fundamentals, Personal Computer Fundamentals for End Users, basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, and Basic Bookkeeping Level 1 and Level 2
